Shopify
The way
A private app you create in your own Dev Dashboard with only two scopes: read and write products. You give us its Client ID and Client secret, and from them we take a token that lasts 24 hours.

Salla
The way
An official partner app in Salla’s app store: you press install and approve the permissions shown (OAuth). We ask for products and pages permissions only.

The way
A REST API key you create in the WooCommerce settings with read/write permission. We never ask for a password or the site administrator account.

How to give us access, step by step
Shopify
Since the start of 2026 Shopify no longer lets you create a fixed access token from your admin. You create a private app of your own in the Dev Dashboard and give us its Client ID and Client secret; from them we take a token that lasts 24 hours and renew it ourselves.
In your Shopify admin: Settings, then Apps, then "Develop apps", then "Build apps in Dev Dashboard".
In the Dev Dashboard click "Create app", name it Mask UP, then "Create".
In the "Access" section add only two scopes: read_products and write_products. Do not add any other scope. Then click "Release" twice to release the version.
In the "Installs" section click "Install app", pick your store, then "Install".
Open "Settings" on the app page and copy the "Client ID" and the "Client secret".
Paste them into the form above with your store address (your-store.myshopify.com) and click "Connect the store".
To revoke access at any time: click "Disconnect" here, or delete the app in the Dev Dashboard. Either stops it at once.
You create a REST API key in your store dashboard and paste it here. We never need your account password.
In WordPress: WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then REST API, then "Add key".
Description: Mask UP. User: your account. Permissions: Read/Write. Then "Generate API key".
Copy the "Consumer key" and the "Consumer secret" right away: they are shown only once.
Make sure your store runs on https, then paste them into the form above with your store address, choose your SEO plugin, and click "Connect the store".
WooCommerce cannot limit a key to products. Our software only touches product and category texts, and you can delete the key from the same page at any time.
We do not ask for your store password and do not accept it, even if you send it. Connecting always goes through the platform’s official channel.
Disconnect any time
You disconnect whenever you want, from here or from your platform, and our access stops at once. Changes already made stay, and you can roll them back from the change log.

Before connecting we need your agreement to the terms and the Growth plan agreement. It is kept with its time and the version of the text.
