Shopify store checklist for UAE merchants: five things we measure before a customer trusts you

Shopify gives you a fast theme and a clean checkout. It does not give you a product page a UAE shopper trusts: that part is yours. These are the five points we measure first in every Shopify store audit for a UAE merchant. They follow the order a visitor meets them.
1) Delivery cost and time on the product page
A shopper who cannot see what delivery costs and when the parcel arrives postpones the decision. We look for an actual number on the product page itself ("AED 15, 1–3 days"), not on a policy page three taps away.
2) A line that says the price includes VAT
In the UAE a visitor expects 5% to appear at checkout unless told otherwise. One sentence next to the price removes the doubt. We measure whether it is there, close to the price.
3) A delivery promise for the big cities
"Dubai and Abu Dhabi: next day" is the sentence a UAE shopper looks for. We search the page for a big city next to a delivery word and a time.
4) Cash on delivery, stated clearly
Some Gulf shoppers still prefer paying at the door. We check whether the store says it offers cash on delivery, and we never contradict what the store itself states.
5) Who is behind the store
A trade licence number, an address and a way to reach a person. A store that shows nobody behind it reads as a risk. We look for contact details and a licence mention on the page or in the footer.
